In the early stages following bereavement, we will provide full and informative details regarding the registration of the death. In addition, we will liaise with local and national doctors, hospital clergy, the coroner’s department, crematoriums and cemeteries as appropriate.
When it comes to planning the funeral itself, we can organise local and national funerals, cremation, burials, worldwide repatriation, woodland burials, coffins, caskets, floral tributes, obituaries and acknowledgements in local or national papers, religious and non-religious funeral ceremonies.
We also can arrange funeral stationery such as orders of service, memorial books or memorial cards, and catering either at a private address, or in a function room or local hotel. In addition, we can arrange for charitable donations to be collected on your behalf. The NAFD Basic Funeral is also available should you prefer this option.
As you plan the funeral, we will endeavour to meet every need you may have, so just ask if you require any assistance or advice. Our funeral home has two chapels of repose, allowing families to visit the deceased in a peaceful environment, as well as a private arrangement office.
